Contributions of Yang Berhormat Dr. Cheah, ADUN DU

On behalf of all the resident members of this community, we wish to convey our appreciation to YB Dr. Cheah for sponsoring to our community program a sinking fund of MYR 2,500.

YB was elected to State Assemblyman (Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri) of the Damansara Utama constituency in March 2008. Prior to being elected, he was a lecturer at the Medical Faculty of University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), and is a consultant physician attached to several private hospitals here.


Dr. Cheah is a psychiatrist by profession. He did his medicine from University of Malaya in 1979, then pursued further to specialize in Psychiatry at the University of Melbourne, and later did his MBA from the University of Bath, UK.

YB is indeed a very dedicated State Assemblymen and is also an active philanthropist. He regularly visit our area to help check on the progress of our security program here. There were several occasions where our volunteer members met him with our guards at the posts during midnight.

YB Dr. Cheah, we sincerely thank you for this hardwork, dedication, and commitment. Thank you very much.
