Outcome from 1st session of Recycling for Sinking Funds

15th Aug (Sat), residents show up in the morning to donate their Old Newspapers and Aluminium Cans to help our organization establish a sinking fund for our community programs. The group of regular volunteers all showed up in full force to help with the sorting and organizing.

This effort raised about RM 210 (updated on 24.09.09) from the sale of the recyclables.

We will be holding this Recycling for Sinking Funds event regularly on every 3rd Saturday of the month. Our next session will be on 19.09.2008. Please help us to inform your neighbors on this as well.
